GreenCape and the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Stellenbosch are holding a workshop at the Cape Construction Expo entitled Can processed builders’ rubble compete with traditional construction materials?
The workshop wil take place on the 23 August at 10am at the CTICC in the Open Knowledge Lounge.
Builders’ rubble is often classified as waste. In line with global trends, the perception in South Africa is also changing to view processed builders’ rubble as a very useful construction material.
Civil engineers at the University of Stellenbosch are demonstrating the usefulness of builders’ rubble in the South African context – key findings, applications, durability challenges and solutions including research in progress will be presented.
We invite you to join us at the Cape Construction Trade Expo taking place 23-24 August 2017 at Cape Town International Convention Centre.
You are welcome to invite colleagues and peers available who would find benefit and value to visit the Expo for free and attend CPD accredited training workshops.
