AMCU members trapped underground

 MAKONJWAAN IMPERIAL MINE Another tragedy has befallen our members. Approximately 115 of our members are trapped

underground after the main offi ces at Makonjwaan Gold Mine in Barberton situated in Mpumalanga province, tragically caved in at 08.40AM this morning. At this point it’s unclear what caused the disaster but further information on this horrifi c incident will be made available during the course of the day. This is the second horrifi c incident within the past 2 weeks, which is uncomprehendable and we are very saddened and disturbed to hear of such a horrendous incidence that has again hit our members.
