In 2014, its roughly 19,000 associates generated sales of 4.2 billion euros, about 85 percent of which outside of Germany. With brands such as Bosch, Skil and Dremel, the division stands for customer focus and great engineering progress.

The division generated about 35 percent of its sales in 2014 with products that have been on the market for less than two years. In 2015, Bosch Power Tools launched more than 100 new products onto the German market in its four business segments power tools, accessories, measuring tools and garden tools.
A Bosch Power Tool of note is the Bosch GBH 12-52 D Professional rotary hammer offers maximum performance during drilling and carving. The tool is suitable for horizontal demolition and correction tasks which call for high performance.
The tool is powered by a 1 700 W motor which delivers 19 joules of impact energy. Bosch Power Tools SA senior brand manager Juergen Lauer states that these tools are designed for tough applications.

According to Lauer, the rotary hammer has a trigger lock for continuous operation. “The trigger lock is automatically activated as soon as the user switches from drilling mode to carving mode. It has an operation time of two hours per day for each user,” he says.
The robust metal components of the tool is designed for durability and a long service life. Other features of the rotary hammers include constant electronics for continuous performance, as well as a service display which shows when a carbon brush has to be changed. The GBH 12-52 D is the strongest rotary hammer in the Professional range and comes in a spacious carrying case to accommodate accessories.
