PMSA sponsoring the 4th annual African Construction and Totally Concrete Expos

03 November 2015

PAN MIXERS SOUTH AFRICA (PMSA) are a silver sponsor of the event where the world meets Africa’s construction, concrete and cement industries. The African Construction and Totally Concrete Expos are pleased to announce their renewed partnership with PMSA. This concrete equipment solutions and technology company is Africa’s largest manufacturer of concrete brick, block and paving machinery, supplier of concrete pumps (Sermac), planetary and twin-shaft mixers (Eurostar), turbine and counter-current rapid pan mixers (PMSA), moisture measuring systems (Franz Ludwig), oxide dosing systems (Finke Dosiertechnik), kerb stone machinery (Wil El Mil Engineering), concrete pipe machinery (BFS Casagrande), self-loading concrete mixers (Fiori), mixing and weigh batching plants (PMSA) and production pallets (Rettenmeier).

In 2015 PMSA, Van Dyk Stene launched a new African solution. Van Dyk Stene is the first cement plant in Africa to use a full curing system from German technology leader Kraft Curing, distributed locally by PMSA. The total automated solution supplied, covers batching (mixing and weighing), a stacker and destacker, an RE1400 block making machine and automated wet and dry side product handling.

The advanced technology from Kraft Curing provides PMSA’s customers with the solution to reduce their input costs by decreasing the quantity of cement used in the production process whilst maintaining the quality material.

“Van Dyk Stene is now able to achieve the same strength requirements, but with 30% less cement, a cost-saving that will have a significant impact on its bottom line,” says Quintin Booysen, PMSA sales and marketing manager.

The Kraft Curing technology offers consistent control of temperature and relative humidity levels of between 90 and 95 percent together with improved operational efficiency.

Booysen explains that PMSA focuses on providing total concrete solutions to meet all of its customers’ requirements. PMSA was awarded the contract by Van Dyk Stene to supply all of the equipment for the state-of-the-art plant which officially opened on 20 May 2015.

The company has immensely invested in modern production techniques for efficient high-volume output of its broad product range.

Meet the company behind the modern techniques, technologies and solutions at the African Construction and Totally Concrete Expos, 10 -11 May 2016 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
