New pediatric hospital for Kenya

08 September 2015

A new pediatric hospital in Kenya is set to be constructed after an agreement was signed by Schneider Childrens’ Medical Centre and Nyandarua County.

The construction project in Ol Kalou town will have Schneider, Israeli’s largest children hospital, offering technical support and human resource development tools to the residents.

“We have travelled a long journey with our partners from Israel and have made many visits, but these events mark a major development in our economic partnership,” Nyandarua Governor Daniel Waithaka said.

Schneider Childrens’ Medical Centre caters for 8,000 open-heart surgeries annually and has widely-experienced pediatricians.

The construction of the new Pediatric hospital in Kenya will be a replica of the Schneider Childrens’ Medical Centre in Tel Aviv.
