Brett Larsen has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of a.b.e. Construction Chemicals, part of the Chryso Southern Africa Group.
After an initial career in the SA Police Service, in which he achieved the rank of Captain working in various specialised investigation units, Brett moved to the business sector in 2001, joining LG Electronics for which he took charge of retail sales of large appliances and electronic goods and subsequently assumed the post of National Sales Manager.
Continuing his career in the retail sector, he joined Philips SA and over the next five years held General Management and Sales Director positions, with responsibility for various segments of Philips SA operations which involved extensive international travel.
In 2012, he joined a.b.e. Construction Chemicals and over the past four years rose through the sales ranks to become the company’s Sales & Marketing Manager before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
Brett holds an Honours Degree in Management, and a National Diploma in Police Administration.
