Privately owned property development company Amdec Group is developing a R1.2-billion mixed-use property at the gateway to Cape Town’s waterfront.
Known as The Yacht Club, the development would comprise residential, hotel and office space, adjacent to the V&A Waterfront and near the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
On completion, set for mid-2017, it was expected to be the biggest development of its kind in the Roggebaai precinct, joining the existing developments of Harbour Bridge Hotel & Suites and Canal Quays apartments.
The residential base of the development will feature a range of apartments with one-bedroom, two-bedroom and luxury corner apartments, ranging from 54 m2 to 95 m2.
The development could include a hotel and associated serviced apartments as negotiations with a well-known international hotel group were advanced.
