The Totally Concrete Expo in conjunction with the African Construction Expo presents the 2nd annual Women in Construction Excellence Awards to be hosted on Wednesday, 28 May 2014 at 10:00 am.
Gain recognition for your work in the African construction industry and enhance the establishment of best practices.
Now in their second year, the awards celebrate the expanded role of women in the construction industry. They honour women who have pioneered the development of the African built environment and recognise the emerging leaders of the industry.
Industry transformation: Please briefly describe any ways in which the candidate has contributed to BEE, expanding the role of women in the construction industry, community development or socio-economic development.
Emerging excellence: Please provide a short description of how an emerging business is driving the development in their community or of a particular project. (so we don’t get only nominations for the “usual suspects”)
African project leaders: Please cite any specific projects or initiatives in Africa in which the candidate exhibited excellence through leadership or expertise.
