CBMI and PPC signs new clinker production contract

Sinoma CBMI Construction Company Limited and South Africa’s PPC have signed an EPC contract for a new clinker production line in South Africa.

This marks the first collaboration between CBMI and PPC. The project entails a 3000 tpd slurry kiln line.

Tong Laigou, Chairman of the Board of CBMI and Darryl Castle, CEO of PPC, signed the contract in the presence of senior staff from both companies. The project is located in Lichenburg, in the northwest of South Africa.
The scope of the contract covers the additive stockpile to clinker transport into the clinker silo, including engineering, procurement, civil works, installation and commissioning. The project is expected to take 25 months, with PAC at 28 months.
