The 4th annual Women in Construction awards cocktail evening will take place on the 10 May 2016
hosted by the African Construction and Totally Concrete Expo at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa. The Women in Construction awards is a collaborative platform dedicated to recognising excellence in Africa within the construction, cement and concrete industry.
The awards categories will recognise those women who are pioneers within the built environment as well as identifying “New Starters” – under 30 years – who have put themselves out there and has been identified as the “ones to watch” as they get a foothold within their sector.
The awards will also acknowledge organisations which have stepped up and developed women’s roles through innovative training programmes as well as showing their commitment to developing the careers of women in the industry.
This year’s awards celebration will be attended by senior-level executives, key decision-makers and suppliers, within the construction, cement and concrete industry.
Interested individuals or organisations can view the criteria and submission requirements for each category on www.womeninconstruction.co.za. Anyone can nominate a candidate organisation and self-nomination is allowed too. Nominations are now open.
