The almost complete phase of Garden City institutes 33,000 m2 of retail space including 120 local and international brands that are placed in three levels.
It is not only the largest mall in East Africa but Garden City also fitted with the largest solar panelled carport in the region giving it enough room for light and fresh air which will be beneficial to all the customers.
The multibillion mall on a 32-acre site along Thika Super highway will be opened on 28th May and most of the residents are anxiously anticipating its inauguration.
The second phase will constitute an additional 50,000 m2 of residential and retail space, a business hotel, and more than 25,000 m2 of office space.
Private equity firm, Actis, is putting up the complex at a cost of US$ 150m.
