Egypt is expecting to increase the amount spend on construction sectors to US$ 77.3 billion at the end of this year according to a report released by Collaboration Management and Control Solutions (CMCS), a leading provider of project portfolio management solutions in Egypt.
In 2015, residential construction is expected to increase to US$606 million, driven by development of new residential areas, implementation of new government policies to help boost housing finance, and an increase in disposable income.
The country’s non-residential construction segment is expected to increase to US$ 6.7billion, due to introduction of investment-friendly government policies and the move to develop more infrastructure.
