Infrastructure development the subject of Norwegian-African Business Summit

16 October 2014

The Norwegian African Business Association (NABA) will host the fourth Norwegian-African Business Summit on October 30 in Oslo, aimed at addressing the main challenges and opportunities facing African infrastructure development under the theme ‘Mapping the African Infrastructure Landscape’.

“Investment in infrastructure accounts for over half of the recent improvements in economic growth in Africa. We know it has the potential to achieve even more. That is why infrastructure is on the agenda,” NABA founder and MD Eivind Fjeldstad said in a release.

He added that the summit would build on strong existing African–Norwegian business ties and a commitment to continue to develop this relationship.

Speakers Include Ghana President John Dramani Mahama and Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Børge Brende.
