The Honourable Susan Shabangu, Minister of Women in the Presidency, has announced that she will give the closing address at the Women in Construction Awards 2017 gala dinner at Gallagher Convention Centre, Gauteng on 24 May 2017. The fifth annual Women in Construction Awards are organised by Hypenica.
“We are delighted that the Minister has accepted our invitation to deliver the closing address at the Awards ceremony in May. This is a prestigious event and having the Minister in attendance gives further gravitas to the significance of this event,” says Athi Myoli, Awards Director, Hypenica.
“The Awards recognise those women who are pioneers in innovationwithin the built environment, as well as identifying rising stars who have put themselves out there and have been identified as the ones to watch as they get a foothold within their sector,” concludes Myoli.
The Awards also acknowledge organisations that have developed women’s roles through innovative training programmes, as well as showing their commitment in developing the careers of women in the industry
Hypenica is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the fifth Women in Construction Awards 2017. Nominations are open until 31 March 2017 by close of business. The shortlists will be announced by mid-April 2017.
