Ciment de l’Afrique has begun selling cement from its new 500 000 tpa plant in Douala, Cameroon. A new advertisement campaign promoting the brand has been launched and the new cement is available at hardware stores in the country, reports World Cement.
Cameroon’s cement market has historically been monopolised by Lafarge subsidiary Cimenteries du Cameroun, which has been operating in the country for 48 years.
