A revised concrete code, ‘SANS 51992-1-1 Design of Concrete Structures’ will soon be launched in South Africa, adopted from the Eurocode, and with modifications only in the National Annex.
The Concrete Society of Southern Africa NPC will present an introduction and explanation for all stakeholders involved in designing concrete structures.
Members of the Working Committee on this new Code will cover relevant topics associated with the new code. The speakers will be: Prof Johan Retief, Prof Elsabé Kearsley, Prof Chris Roth, Prof Jan Wium, Prof Gideon van Zijl, Mr Bryan Perrie, Dr John Robberts
