Construction work on the Abuja City Centre in Nigeria will commence in May and cost up to US$3.5b, says the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed.
The two-phase project will include four international hotels, residential units, offices, shops as well as condominium according to Jaimal Shergill, executive director-Africa, Eagle Hills, Abu Dhabi, a renowned international developer.
The project will be executed by the Chicason Group in collaboration with the Eagle Hills.
According to Senator Mohammed, Abuja City Centre construction project will be of a mixed-use in nature, generate 10,000 employment opportunities and positively impact the country’s economy.
