South African cement maker PPC said on Friday it would convene a general meeting to consider removal of its entire board after three shareholders holding a 10% stake requested it.
“The board has resolved in the interest of certainty and transparency to convene a meeting of shareholders, which is likely to occur in the first half of December,” PPC said in a filing to regulators.
