Rob Rein, Group Executive: Sales and Marketing of major cement producer, PPC, has been elected as the new Chairperson of The Concrete Institute (TCI).
Rob joined IDM Cement’s Sales department in the company’s founding year (1998), becoming a Director in 2001 and later a shareholder.
In 2010, Castle Cement acquired IDM Cement and formed the business known today as Safika Cement Holdings trading as IDM Cement. PPC acquired a 69% stake in Safika Cement Holdings in December 2013 and Rein then became PPC’s Group Executive: Sales and Marketing.
