SINOHYDRO Corporation Limited has been awarded a US$85-m contract for construction of a 79.1-km road in the Southern Region of Ethiopia.
The new road will extend from Mender to Hana town from Omo Kuraz Sugar Factory, reducing the Sodo-Arbaminch-Jinka-Hana-Omo route to the sugar factory by 180 km. Construction is scheduled to take two years.
