SoilLab just completed the soil compaction test with positive results which will enable the foundation work for the perimeter wall at the Devland Soweto Education Campus to proceed. SMEC, is leading all of the engineering services required on the project from structural, civil, soil testing, all pro bono [FREE].
We are most grateful to SMEC and all the other 126 companies working pro bono, providing professional services, materials and hire equipment and so much more, all donated, sponsored, for free.
Together we are building sustainable projects in South Africa’s underserved communities, and we continue with little or no funding but for paying the labor. It’s an AMAZING collaboration of willing and able companies and suppliers from the building industry.
