Top two concrete technology courses for 2016

05 November 2015

Two courses offered by the School of Concrete Technology stand out from the 13 other courses on offer at the school run by The Concrete Institute, says John Roxburgh, lecturer at the SCT.

“The SCT20 Concrete Practice and SCT30 Concrete Technology courses make up well over 80% of the student days at the school. Their popularity is because these courses in particular meet the specific needs of the concrete and concrete-related industries. They have been developed over the past 30 years to provide the best possible learning experience and material for students.

SCT20 Concrete Practice is excellent for site foremen, concrete supervisors and those in quality assurance, while the SCT30 Concrete Technology course complements the Concrete Practice course and is ideal for site agents, engineers, and those involved in technical sales of concrete-related products, such as admixtures, precast and ready-mix concrete,” Roxburgh adds.
