Each representing innovative organisations and one an innovator in her own right, Nneile Nkholise, Nicki Koorbanally and Yolande Steyn, will share learnings and best practise at the Project Management South Africa (PMSA) 2016 National Biennial Conference at The Wanderers, Johannesburg from 9 to 11 November.
About the conference
Innovation is the focus of this year’s PMSA 2016 Conference and the conference aims to help project managers develop their own innovative skills to apply to their teams and to innovative projects that they manage.
Acknowledging the challenges inherent in encouraging and managing innovative thinking and application, the conference will provide input into the ever-growing body of knowledge that project management practitioners require to deliver successful projects.
According to forbes.com, innovation must be seen as a discipline – learning to use the right methods, tools and approaches at the right times. In other words: learning to harness innovation.
This means learning, practising and honing innovation skills including what the various methods are and how they are applied in different contexts, as well as measuring the methods and their results, determining what works and what doesn’t.
Presentations, workshops, panel discussions and reviewed academic papers will cover the latest trends in terms of best practice, research and innovation, insights, technology, toolsets and services essential to the practice of project management.
