Zambia is among Africa’s top 10 fastest growing economies, and this is largely driven by the building and construction activities are going on all over the country at an amazing pace contributing 24% to Zambia’s GDP in 2013 – Roads and bridges, commercial and residential properties are being built and maintained by a broad selection of local and international companies.
At the head of Zambia’s construction boom are the country’s architects whose creativity has seen ideas come to life in the structures adorning the city’s landscape.
With an estimated 80 plus architects converging at the venue for their annual conference, this promises to be the single largest gathering of professionals (+230) of the building and construction industry in the country.
To create an annual forum where manufacturers on building materials and related sectors may display their ways, methods and technologies alongside this premier event, they will be a two day exhibition at which products, services and machinery will be on display.
With an industry currently enjoying vibrant growth, visitor attendance is estimated at approximately 1500 over the two days.
