Best practices for assessing the performance of construction and concrete products

Concrete.TV recently did a skype interview with Dr. Gerhard Breitschaft, President, DIBt – Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, Germany.    

He has been the President of the German Institute for Building Technology since 2009 and will be one of the key speakers at the 2016 African Construction and Totally Concrete Expo’s focusing on the Best practices for assessing the performance of innovative construction and concrete products looking closely into the, Decrease project maintenance costs over time by using concrete and accurately estimate the service life of concrete.  

The DIBt is the German approval body for non-regulated construction products and types. As a service center DIBt accepts a wide range of civil engineering and building inspection tasks.

Gerhard will be presenting on the 11 May 2016, part of Session 3.2.2: Using concrete Part 2: Assessing the Performance of concrete at 13:00.  

Together the high level speakers at the African Construction and Totally Concrete Expo will offer innovative and interactive content delivery that addresses strategic issues affecting infrastructure delivery and the latest developments and technologies associated with the cement, concrete and construction industries.
