INTERMAT INNOVATION AWARDS, WORLD OF CONCRETE AWARD
At the INTERMAT Innovation Awards gala event, the World of Concrete Award was made by Tom Cindric, Vice President of Informa Exhibitions (the organiser of World of Concrete Las Vegas), to the firm Tekla. The award winner was congratulated for its Tekla Structures Construction Modelling solution, a package aimed at all concrete contractors which facilitates the design, estimation, management and planning of all types of project from a 3D BIM model.
A ONE-OFF EXHIBITION: “30 YEARS OF THE EQUERRE D’ARGENT”
WOC Europe will also play host to an exhibition portraying all of the buildings distinguished by the Equerre d’Argent award between 1983 and 2013. This most prestigious architecture prize is awarded annually to a building erected in France, irrespective of its architect’s nationality. The exhibition is thus an abstract of French architecture over the past three decades, from the most prestigious works (Picasso museum, Institute du Monde Arabe, Cité de la Musique, etc.) to municipal buildings (kindergartens, car parks, media libraries, schools, gymnasiums, etc.) and housing.
