The annual African Construction and Totally Concrete Expo took place at the Sandton Convention Centre, from Tuesday, 12 May to Thursday, 14 May 2015. The conference offered attendees five unique expo experiences which included the African Construction Expo, Totally Concrete Expo, Coatings for Africa, Housing for Africa and African Roads Evolution.“Together, all five conferences and expos shared the story of shaping the future of Africa’s cement, concrete and construction industries value chain,” says Soren du Preez, 2015 Programme Director.
The African Construction and Totally Concrete Expo is Africa’s highest-profile event for the construction industry – with PPC Cement, AfriSam, Stanadard Bank, Moto -Engil and Pan Mixers South Africa being just a few of a host of industry sponsors on board. The conference secured unprecedented industry support from over 75 media and association partners (including Master Builders Association, South African Institute of Architects, Engineering News and The Star, to name a few). The conference is also known as Africa’s biggest gathering of qualified buyers and sellers for the entire cement, concrete and construction industry value chain. It certainly created a platform for construction stakeholders from across the globe to engage in open dialogue, as well as exchange knowledge, discuss best practice, construction trends and new innovation case studies from the respective countries present.
