Repair and rehabilitation of deteriorated concrete can be an art as well as a science. Developing an effective concrete repair and protection strategy requires a thorough understanding of the causes of the problem.
The repair engineer must have the skill and imagination to select and adapt any of various repair techniques to fix the existing defect.
The RepSem event was hosted by the Concrete Society of Southern Africa and travelled to Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Gauteng and in total over 400 concrete society members and delegates were reached.
The event enjoyed a huge turnout which shows that members enjoy and find value from this type of seminar and shows ongoing interest in the topic of repair and rehabilitation.
