Corestruc recently became a member of the Concrete Society of Southern Africa (CSSA), a community comprising 700 built-environment professionals who promote excellence in the design and use of concrete. Corestruc is a leading designer and manufacturer of precast concrete structures, with an extensive portfolio of completed projects, ranging from government civil infrastructure to private- and public-sector property developments.
MD, Willie de Jager, says the company remains at the forefront of innovation in modular precast concrete construction technologies, and looks forward to its interaction with other like-minded professionals. “Being a Bronze member of the society, will provide Corestruc access to quality technical conferences, seminars and meetings that serve as an excellent platform for knowledge sharing, while strengthening our own existing research and development programmes and communication channels,” De Jager says.
CEO of CSSA, John Sheath, says he is looking forward to Corestruc’s participation in CSSA’s activities and joining its other prominent members – individuals, companies and academics promoting excellence in the design and use of concrete.
“We’re proud of our acceptance as a member of CSSA, and know we have a lot to contribute,” concludes De Jager. “Corestruc has played a leading role in showcasing the many merits of building with precast modular systems. Its high quality precast concrete technologies reduce construction times on important infrastructure-delivery programmes and contribute towards a more durable final structure.”
