GladAfrica: Public and Private sectors need to work together

“As an industry we need to have a dialogue between private and government stakeholders – if we can join hands, that will be the start.  Government can lead and influence the industry in how we can provide services. As an organisation we need to create an environment ourselves, so that we are getting exposed to projects which we can gain experience from.  And then we can work together with government, says Lebese.  

 

“This conference can be used as a platform as speakers are sharing their views and coming up with suggestions.  Following this we would like to take these suggestions forward in terms of implementation, if we can find that balance we are moving in a good direction.” 

 

The Civilution Congress 2016 event was a resounding success.  The event was co-located with the Totally Concrete and African Construction, Construction IT and Captains of Construction event.  Civilution was supported by a number of key industry stakeholders and aims to be the leading platform to continue the dialogue between voluntary associations, private and public sectors.
