Urban designer and Swiss architect, Aaron Wegmann discusses his opinions on concrete, its uses and design possibilities – and the biggest challenge facing concrete – “people”.

Aaron J. Wegmann is an architect and urban design specialist with offices in both Cape Town and Zurich. He has designed various projects in South Africa with emphasis on design and urban planning as well as various community-based housing projects with emphasis on an integrated sustainable planning approach for affordable housing and community facilities. He holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Washington in Seattle and is actively involved in a number of projects in South Africa, India and Kenya.
