Koeberg’s challenges

Upgrading the Koeberg Interchange has been one of the largest infrastructure projects undertaken in Cape Town in recent years. Costing nearly 700 million Rand, the interchange included adding lanes to the N1 and M5, widening the viaduct, constructing new ramps and an unsuspended 68 m bridge span over the railway servitude.
