Overview of East Africa’s only cement & concrete event

05 November 2014

The Totally Concrete East Africa event was held in Tanzania from 28-30 October 2014.  The event offered over 300 participants the methods to increase sustainability in East African construction projects with techniques for service life extension, quality control enforcement in both domestic and imported cement, and reducing maintenance and repair costs over time. The all-star line-up of more than 40 renowned industry experts delivered critical insight into doing business in the region’s construction market and proven techniques for navigating the local tender and building process.

“Thank you so much for a well organised and managed conference which really was fantastic. It was a great time to meet with great people with great minds and the lesson learnt specifically on infrastructure development will improve the living standards of our people. As Technocrats we have to be results oriented and thus putting imagination into workable physical structures using locally available potential raw materials,” says Eng. Stephen S.A, Plant Manager from Manda, Tanesco Ltd.

The Totally Concrete East Africa 2015 event will be held in Nairobi, Kenya from 26-28 October 2015 and aims to help you capitalise on the demand for increased cement production in East Africa and prepare for upcoming tenders in housing, transport and public works with guaranteed extended access to the entire African concrete ecosystem from concrete technologist to consulting engineer.
