The Concrete Manufacturers Association (CMA) has recently welcomed its new Executive Director, Frans Minnaar to its helm.
Here, Minnaar explains his role in the association and what his priorities will be during his term. In particular, his main focus will be on quality and the development of a testing facility for precast.
The CMA is the primary representative of precast industry and promote and represent precast industry throughout the world & South Africa. Their remit is to ensure that precast products are used in the correct way in the industry.
The CMA has expanded its African footprint to Africa: with producers situated in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. These African members wear the CMA logo with pride as it is a sign of quality.
In addition, Europe and Asia are non-producer members, they are mostly manufacturers of equipment in precast industry and use the CMA as a platform for networking.
