Thuli Madonsela’s message to engineers

Thuli Madonsela, Public Protector of South Africa is making headlines across the world following her revelations of South Africa’s President and his government’s expenditure of public funds.  Madonsela has also now been named in Time magazine’s annual list of the most 100 influential people in the world.  Here she is addressing the South African Institution of Civil Engineers congress: Civilution and applauds engineers on taking a stand against corrupt activities. Madonsela reiterates that engineers can take a clear role to ensure projects between them and government are implemented with integrity.
